With a home-spun, relaxed stage presence and a sheer command of their craft, they invite their audience along for a journey down a road of familiar and favorite melodies and unique and unforgettable harmonies. From classic rock and country to today's biggest artists, Encore is taking you back to the music you love.

The band’s core of rhythm guitar, electric lead guitar or banjo, fiddle, bass and harmony vocals can lean into country, veer toward bluegrass, or take listeners on a unique journey through Bill’s original songs.

Linus Tate Unplugged
The acoustic duo known as “Linus Tate Unplugged" began in 2013 after the two had been involved in some common musical projects. Poteet, 22 at the time, had been playing acoustic blues, 90's pop and everything in between when he joined bassist/vocalist Noah Cope, freshly retired from his career as an upright bassist for Phantom Of The Opera.

Finding common ground in a love of great songwriters both past and present (Ray Lamontange, Chris Stapleton, Jackson Browne, etc) the acoustic duo Linus Tate Unplugged was born. Covering great songs by timeless artists makes for an engaging, unique live show that leave audiences wanting more.

Sunderman and Sorentino

Heavily influenced in their formative years by such iconic artists as the Beatles, Van Morrison, George Michael and Todd Rundgren, this duo’s calling cards are rich vocal harmony and guitar styles reminiscent of the Blues, Folk and Rock-n-Roll music of the sixties and seventies. Andy Sorentino’s background includes performing in popular bands throughout the Columbus, Ohio marketplace as a lead vocalist and guitar player. Andy also teaches guitar out of “Sidekick Studios” in West Chester, Oh. Robert’s Sunderman’s musical resume’ includes his participation in the Greater Cincinnati music scene as a guitar player and co-producer of the “Eastwind Acoustic Rock-n-Roll Ensemble “.
Jun 7 5pm-9pm
Mark Gibson
Singer/songwriter, Mark Gibson, has been a professional musician for 15 years. Originally from Tulsa, OK, he now resides in Cincinnati, OH. His music is soul-tinged and bluesy, and it seeks the right balance between rawness and refinement. He’s released numerous albums throughout his career, with his latest offering, “Live From Soul City,” (2018). The album accurately captures Gibson’s live shows; a dynamic performer with a wonderful band that can glide between being smooth and unassuming, to creating attention grabbing, emotional crescendos. When he performs solo, he records and loops acoustic and electric guitar in real-time, and then sings over the top. It makes for a more exciting and complex performance than the typical acoustic performance. We are excited about Mark's debut.
Jun 8 5pm-9pm
John Ford
Harmony Hill is pleased to welcome back Singer-Songwriter, John Ford for his seventh season performing on the Hill. John performs a unique mix of American Roots, Traditional Blues and Soulful Classic Rock. Ford is a veteran of the Cincinnati music scene, playing classic rock, punk and alt country in various bands, influenced by everything from classic & college rock to country blues. currently playing a repertoire of self-composed American roots music. “I’ve been writing songs since my early teens” John explains, “Whether it be songs I’ve written or an old song from the 1930’s, I play what I fall in love with. Many times people ask if I’m doing all original music; sometimes I do, depending on the venue, but sometimes it’s just an old Son House song or a new Chris Smither song that people have never heard, that I consider to be great.
