Oct 2 5pm-9pm
Mark Gibson
Mark Gibson is a singer/songwriter from Tulsa, OK. Over the years, he's been in solo and band projects that contained a wide array of sounds and influences. After the release of his first solo album, "Beautifully Deconstructed," (2012) which still contained influences of bands like U2 and Coldplay, he decided it was time to define his own sound. Gibson's love for music began with the guitar, so it seemed like the right place to start. He quickly realized that when he just played for himself at home, he naturally played bluesy and soul-tinged riffs. He decided to explore those sounds further, and what he discovered was a more rhythmic and soulful approach to playing and songwriting. When he played and sang in that manner, it felt like he was coming home.
We are very excited to have Mark returning to The Hill this fall.
Oct 8 5pm-9pm
Iz and Avery
Forged out of Cincinnati’s School of Creative and Performing Arts (S.C.P.A), Iz and Ave started their musical friendship during Covid quarantine. Izzy’s piano and ukulele based songwriting blended naturally with Avery’s acoustic and electric guitar based style. Their vocals, each unique in their own right, blend with the intuition of seasoned performers. Performing acoustic covers of their favorite songs as well as collaborative original music Iz and Ave are a delightful duet to take in.
Harmony Hill has done wonders over the years promoting young talent. Let's show these young women what a Harmony Hill welcome is all about.
